Day 1: Houei Say – Pakbeng

Upon arrival at the Lao immigration checkpoint, a local representative will assist with entry formalities before transferring you to the Luang Say cruise boat, docked at the slow boat pier in Houei Say. The journey begins at 9:30 AM, cruising along the Mekong River toward Pakbeng.

After approximately one hour, the boat stops at a traditional riverside village, offering a chance to observe daily life and the craftsmanship of ethnic minorities. Back onboard, enjoy a buffet-style lunch featuring Lao culinary delights with a selection of fish and meat dishes.

Arrive at Luang Say Lodge before sunset, where you can relax and take in the stunning river views. A traditional Laotian dinner is served on the open-air terrace overlooking the Mekong.

Day 2: Pakbeng – Kamu Lodge
