Day 1: Arrival in Phnom Penh – The Capital’s Heritage

Welcome to Cambodia! Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Take time to relax or explore the riverside promenade before joining your group for a welcome dinner featuring Cambodian delicacies like fish amok and beef lok lak.

Day 2: Phnom Penh – Historical & Cultural Insights

Start the day with a visit to the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, home to Cambodia’s monarchy. Continue to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21) and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, where you will learn about Cambodia’s tragic past under the Khmer Rouge regime. After lunch, visit Wat Phnom, the city’s founding temple, and take an optional sunset cruise on the Mekong River.

Day 3: Phnom Penh to Siem Reap – A Scenic Journey

Upon arrival in Siem Reap, take a guided orientation walk to explore the Old Market, filled with handicrafts, silks, and street food stalls. Spend the evening at leisure, perhaps catching a traditional shadow puppet performance.

Take part in a monk blessing ceremony, an ancient tradition believed to bring good fortune. Lunch will be at Spoons Restaurant, a training school for underprivileged youth. In the afternoon, return to Angkor Wat for a guided tour and enjoy an optional sunset view.
